The copyrights of all articles of China Journal of Democracy belong to the Institute for China’s Democratic Transition, and reprints or use of any materials of them must be attributed to the journal properly. When submitting his or her article, an author agrees that once his or her article is published by this journal, the copyright of the article is transferred to China’s Democratic Transition.
All articles of China Journal of Democracy are open access articles distributed under the terms of the CC-BY-NC-ND license, which permits users to copy and redistribute any of them, provided that they are not altered or used commercially. Permission is not required to distribute any of the articles, provided that the authors and journal are given credit.
Authors are allowed to post their articles online in institutional repositories or on their own websites. Once the issue is published, any pre-prints posted online should include citations and links to the final published version of China Journal of Democracy. Post-print versions (including reposting the final PDF published by Institute for China’s Democratic Transition) should include a citation and link to the journal’s website.
